Biography

Born and raised in Chattanooga, attorney Chelsea Markham Lyle graduated from UTC with a major in Spanish and a minor in Criminal Justice. After receiving her undergraduate degree, she went to teach English in Madrid, Spain while studying at the University of Alcala where she obtained a Master's Degree in the language, culture, and literature of the Hispanic world. When she returned to the United States, she obtained her Juris Doctor at the Regent University School of Law, her connection and experience with Spanish language and culture naturally moved her to become an Immigration Law attorney. She began her career at Catholic Charities of East Tennessee, but later expanded her practice to include Criminal Defense and Family Law with Olivencia and Cribben. She is a member of the Chattanooga Bar Association and was elected to the board of the Young Lawyer's Division. She speaks both English and Spanish fluently.
